Aunt Bean and Uncle Thomas - all the way from Little Rock, Arkansas came to visit. Yeah! Talk about fun! (By the way, Aunt Bean does have a real name - it's Jeanine, but I don't think the kids know that. She's just always been 'Bean' to them. My sister was an amazing gymnast when she was younger, always jumping around, just like a jumping bean! Hence the name.) But I digress, we feasted together, played together, and gave thanks together. Here's a few pics...
Grandpa got silly with the insect napkin holders after dinner. Caleb got the fly swatter out to help him out. Isn't family fun?
The next day it was out to Toogoodoo Christmas Tree Farm on Yonge's Island. A Young family tradition is to head out there the day after Thanksgiving to find the perfect tree for our living room. Have you ever really thought about it? Chopping down a perfectly good pine tree and standing it up in your living room. Hey, why not throw a bunch of lights and ornaments on it, too? Who cares if it drips sap and all of the needles fall off. It's Christmas!

We have so much to be thankful for! Our family is blessed beyond measure!

Psalm 100
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
