Micah James

It's a boy! Micah James blessed us abundantly with his arrival on Tuesday, January 12 at 6:10pm weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length. He started the day breach in the womb and after a successful version (manually turning him head down) he was induced into this world for us all to hold and cuddle and love on! Enjoy a few pics. Micah James - about an hour old.

Logan is thrilled to have a baby brother. When he heard the news, he pumped his fist and yelled, "Yes!" (Big improvement from crying when he heard the news of his previous sibling, Anna's, birth.)

Words cannot express the joy in Ellen over having a new sibling. She e-mailed us periodically throughout the day on our phones with encouraging notes of love. What a blessing she is!

Caleb is also thrilled to have another baby brother. His comment was, "Yes, another birthday to celebrate!" and "I can't wait to play Lego's with him."

Anna and Rebekah love little Micah. Rebekah loves to sit on the couch with him in her arms just staring at him without moving a muscle.

Anna still calls him, "Piper" which is her cousin. We're working on it... My parents graciously and bravely watched all the kids for us even in the midst of their heat going out. They all slept in one room with space heaters. Praying they remember all of this as an adventure.
